It serves as a means of explaining what is being communicated to others. Many college and high school students have pronunciation issues. It is supported by ten articles that have been collected from various articles and nations. They were gathered from the Google Scholar website and organized by year starting in 2019 and topic of pronunciation and application. The authors’ findings show that using seven different pronunciation applications, such as Praat, Orai, Elsa, Tophonetics, EFP, English Pronunciation, and Mall improves students’ speaking, listening, and pronunciation abilities. The students were more motivated to participate in the teaching-learning process after using such an approach. Teachers could use these kinds of discoveries to teach subjects that are connected. It also motivates other scholars to pursue related research.</p> EDY SUSENO Copyright (c) 2023 Edy Suseno Sun, 17 Sep 2023 00:00:00 +0530 EXAMINATION OF THE FAIR WORLD BELIEF OF PROFESSIONALS WORKING AT THE MINISTRY OF SOCIAL SERVICES <p>The Ministry of Family and Social Services is trying to implement effective and efficient social service models by trying to reach every member of the society, with the mission of developing and implementing holistic and fair social service models for the protection, strengthening and development of the individual, the family and our social values. The Ministry of Family and Social Services, which adopts supply-oriented working as a principle while reaching individuals, constitutes a large part of the working area of disadvantaged, fragmented families in need of social and economic support, and women, children and disabled individuals. Establishing the necessary communication with the families in question, carrying out the professional work, determining and implementing the appropriate social work model are among the job descriptions of the professional staff working as psychological counselors, psychologists, social workers, sociologists and teachers working under the ministry. Considering the family structures and case details of the mentioned professionals, they have witnessed many traumatic experiences directly or indirectly; The main purpose of this study is to examine how they look at events, how they keep their psychological well-being in balance or for what reasons, and how the just world belief systems affect all these experiences.</p> Yener Özen Copyright (c) 2023 Yener Özen Sun, 17 Sep 2023 00:00:00 +0530 ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF FUELWOOD CONSUMPTION IN YOBE STATE, NIGERIA <p>Since rural and urban poor areas in Nigeria depend mainly on fuelwood (Biomass) as their major energy source, this triggers fuelwood consumption and adversely affects the environment. The analysis focused on fuelwood production as a source of livelihood in rural areas of developing countries. The study employs a purposive sampling technique in selecting case study units within the study area. The selected units include Bade, Damaturu, and Potiskum, respectively. Their selection was based on the population’s size and the state’s zonal districts. Three hundred and ninety-five respondents from fuelwood collectors have been obtained through stratified and random sampling techniques. Data were collected using a questionnaire, focus group discussion, personal interview, and observations. The finding reveals that more than 85% of people living in the study area use fuelwood collection as their second major source of livelihood after farming. On identifying the importance of fuelwood collection, the study suggested encouraging massive campaigns on tree planting programs, coppicing practices, and applying protective rules safeguarding forests. On the other hand, provision of grant and empowerment projects, and access to modern fuels, among others. Thus, it improves people’s ways of living in rural areas, encourages livelihood generation, reduces forest exploitation, and maintains environmental protection.</p> MUSA AUDU, ABATCHA MELEMI, BABAYO MUSA Copyright (c) 2023 Ibrahim Jibrin Gani Sun, 17 Sep 2023 00:00:00 +0530 THE ROLE OF ISLAMIC MICROFINANCE BANKS IN PROMOTING THE SOCIAL WELFARE: A CASE STUDY OF YOBE MICROFINANCE BANK <p>The study assesses the Islamic Microfinance Bank’s role in promoting customers’ social welfare, using the newly developed products of Yobe Microfinance Bank to encourage inclusion and alleviate poverty in the Yobe communities. Yobe State is ranked bottom as the poorest in the region and scores low on human development and poverty alleviation. It indicates low education rates, poor implementation of government policies on poverty, and a high financial exclusion rate. The study adopted a qualitative approach using random sampling to collect data from customers of Yobe Microfinance Bank. Using the acceptability of the newly introduced sharia complaint products of Yobe Microfinance among the people in Yobe state, using the Structural Equation Modelling, 300 respondents completed the survey using a Likert scale. The study employed Structural Equation Modeling to analyze and test reliability and validity to provide accuracy of respondents’ information. The finding indicates the positive relationship between Islamic banking products and customer satisfaction.
