About the Journal

International Journal of Applied Pharmaceutics (Int J App Pharm) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, bimonthly journal (since 2017) devoted to excellence in pharmaceutics and applied pharmaceutical research.

The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, and short communications that contribute significantly to scientific knowledge in conventional dosage forms, formulation development and characterization, controlled and novel drug delivery systems, biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, molecular drug design, polymer-based drug delivery, nanotechnology, nanocarrier-based drug delivery, novel routes and modes of drug administration, responsive delivery systems, prodrug design, targeted drug delivery systems, and ligand-carrier interactions.

Studies on analytical method development and validation, physical pharmacy, pharmaceutical biotechnology, pharmacy practice, and related areas of pharmaceutical sciences are also within the journal's scope. The journal further considers pharmacological and toxicological studies of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), pharmaceutical formulations, and clinically relevant case reports or case studies that contribute to pharmaceutical research and practice.

Special issues on dedicated subjects or conference proceedings relevant to the aims and scope of the journal may be considered for publication. All submissions to special issues and conference proceedings undergo the same rigorous peer-review process, editorial screening, and publication standards as regular submissions. The content published in such issues must remain relevant to the aims and scope of the journal.

The journal welcomes high-quality research addressing emerging healthcare challenges, including endemic and pandemic diseases, provided that the submitted work demonstrates clear relevance to pharmaceutical sciences, drug development, drug delivery, pharmacotherapy, pharmaceutical analysis, toxicology, or related areas within the journal's stated scope.
